Green Point does it big!

Big and HIGH! Jake Heidenreich's MR2 is under construction getting a new timing belt, water pump, and some powder coated goodies. After lots of research it turns out the best way to get the motor out of the good ole mid engine car without a car lift, is to actually LIFT the back of the car and pull the motor down and out... now if you're like me you may be scratching your head at this point. We're equipped with a cherry picker, jack stands, jack and other little things but nothing you'd think to pull a car up off the ground enough to pull the motor out. They actually used the cherry picker to get the back of the car off the ground! It was something to see! So now I thought I'd share it with those of you in the bURG!

  1. Hell yeah! Another example of fine work by Greenpoint Customs lol. You guys make it look too easy.

Oh mid-engine looks so much fun! But I know they will do all the major maintenance while its out.

    How long did it take?

  2. About two weeks due to weather. All in all man, I would say it was less than less than 8 hours of work.
